Scrubba™ Weightless Wallet: Spotlight Review

The Scrubba Weightless Wallet: Slim, Light, and Affordable. What’s not to love?

The Scrubba Weightless wallet is one of those wallets that immediately grabs your attention. I frequently browse crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter and IndieGoGo looking for the next innovations in wallet design and functionality and while I usually fall short, this time, I found Scubba. While currently sitting pretty on Kickstarter having raised a cool $13,000 there is no confusion as to why the Scrubba has raised so much with still 18 days left (as of 21/09/2016). Let’s take a brief look at what the Scrubba Weightless is and how it stacks up to the competition.

Initial Impressions

The Scrubba Weightless wallet, on paper, has it all. While mentioning weight in its name the Scrubba comes in at a remarkable 7grams. Not only this but its one of the only wallets I’ve come across which is truly made from 100% upcycled material. The guys at Scrubba use excess materials from their other products which means we get an awesome product which helping save the planet. Awesome!

Features

The Scrubba markets itself as a wallet for the more outdoor, activity filled lifestyle. If you’re somebody who partakes in regular sports such as running or cycling then this wallet, with its tear and sweat resistance features, might be for you. Another reason I love this wallet is the attention to detail. The wallet is made to fit all common currencies. One of my major gripes with a lot of wallets is their failure to accommodate currencies outside of the makers country. American manufacturers have a tendency to do this and I always find my overly large £20 notes overflowing over the top of the wallets edges. Not Ideal.

While the Scrubba still has a couple of weeks left until the funding ends I’ve already had the pleasure to speak to Scrubba and the awesome guys there are sending me a wallet for review! Stay tuned for that, and my video review coming soon! In the meantime make sure to check out Scrubba’s Kickstarter here, follow them on social media and back the project of course!
